INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS

IN ORDER TO BECOME SEU STUDENT YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

  • Application form
  • Copies of the applicant's current or recent academic record and official transcripts

  • Copy of passport


Applications must be submitted to the International Relations Office by E-mail: [email protected], After registering the application, the applicant will have to go through interview process conducted by relevant language specialist, faculty member of a chosen program and International Relations Office staff.

Upon successful completion of the interview the candidate will receive Conditional Offer Letter to enroll in the program. The candidates will be informed about the success / failure of his / her application by the International Relations Office via E- mail.

It should be noted that receiving a Conditional Offer Letter does not guarantee a place in the program. For final decision, applicant's documents must be approved the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the applicant must pay the tuition fee. The SEU will then issue the Unconditional Offer Letter to the prospective student which will be sent via E-mail.

Before submitting the documents to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the applicant must receive the recognition of the documents issued abroad at the National Center for Quality Enhancement of Georgia (www.eqe.ge E-mail: [email protected]).

All documents must be translated into Georgian and notarized. Applications with incomplete list of documents will not be considered.

*Indian Nationals willing to study at SEU MD program must also provide NEET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST)  results.


ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

VISA AND RESIDENCE PERMIT

Students are required to obtain a D3 Immigration visa prior to their arrival to Georgia. Citizens of those countries who require a visa should address to a nearby Diplomatic Mission or consular offices of Georgia in accordance with citizenship.

Citizens of 96 countries are allowed to visit Georgia and stay for a year. (EU state, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Former Soviet States). For more information about visa details: geoconsul.gov.ge

 

Required Documents for visa application:

  • Fully completed visa application form
  • Travel document/passport
  • Receipt of payment of a consular fee
  • Personal photo according to ICAO standards
  • A document providing the purpose of Travel
  • A document providing sufficient financial means
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Travel and health insurance

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR A RESIDENCE PERMIT

Citizens of those who enter to Georgia on the basis of a student visa or visa-free entry should refer to the Public Service Hall to get students residence permit (TRP)

  • Filled in an application form;
  • Copy of a passport;
  • Copy of a document proving the legal basis of staying in Georgia (in case of students copy of D3 immigrant/student visa);
  • A certificate issued by an authorized higher educational institution in Georgia regarding studies (indicating the duration of studies);
  • Document proving legal income or a bank statement;
  • Photo with size 3X4;
  • Service fee payment receipt;

 

ACCOMMODATION

University provides assistance to find accommodation at the affiliated dormitories.
