SEU - Georgian National University

The student base has a football team - "SEU".

Summary of 2017 – 2018 seasons 

In the 2017-2018 season, the SEU team won three tournaments simultaneously, the team was the current champion of the Tbilisi Premier League, was able to defend the title and this year also won the championship of the Tbilisi Premier League.

12 team has been participating in the Premier League. Championship was held in two round and out of 22 matches the team of SEU won 19 and beat the nearest follower with 10 points.

UEFA team won the championship 3 rounds before the end of the championship. The team also won the Tbilisi City Hall Cup where they defeated “T. S  Court ” team.

As the team of SEU has won the Super League and the City Hall Cup, in the Super Cup final, they opposed the finalists of the City Hall Cup  ,,T. S the Court’’ and convincingly won 6-1.

P.S. The Winners of the  Premier League and City Hall Cup, meet each other at the Super Cup. If in both cases the same team wins, their opponent becomes a finalist in the City Hall Cup, as both of these tournaments were won by the SEU team, they met in the Super Bowl final with the Cup finalist , T. S Court’’.
