Competition of the European Commission Joint Research Center (JRC)

Shota Rustaveli Science Foundation disseminates information about a competition announced by the European Commission Joint Research Center (JRC) for admission to the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory.

The Joint Research Center (JRC) is the European Commission's Science and Education Service, which has a nanobiotechnology laboratory equipped with the latest nanomaterial technology. Laboratory activities focus on establishing the scientific basis for the properties of nanomaterials and their interaction with biosystems to promote the safe and sustainable development of nanotechnology.

Criteria for participation in the competition:

  • The participating institutions (see definitions given within the competition) must be EU Member States or associate countries with EU Research Innovation Framework Program Horizon 2020;
  • The participating institution must be a unit of a higher education institution, a scientific or public organization, or a small and medium business.
  • Article 19 of the EU Law on Ethics, namely Regulation (EU) 1291/2013, and the laws and regulations in force in the EU Member States should be taken into account.
  • The application form must be completed and in line with the instructions provided during the competition.
