Information on Social Incentives

Within the framework of the new initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the rule of financing the tuition fees for socially vulnerable students of higher education institutions has been defined (Resolution of the Government of Georgia of August 27, 2020 № 536).

Social assistance will be provided to SEU Undergraduate, Master and Single-Step education program students registered in the "Unified Database of Socially Vulnerable Families" and whose rating score as of September 1, 2020 is equal to or less than 150,000 points and have active status.

The program includes:

• Reimbursement of tuition fees for the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year;
• Debt repayment for the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.

The amount of tuition fees for socially vulnerable students is the maximum cost of one-semester tuition - 1125 GEL, according to the amount of the study grant issued by the state.

• The above category of students should apply to the SEU administration to restore their student status.
• Student debt information will be provided to the relevant agencies by the SEU, students only need to activate the status in the SEU.
