Scheme of the evaluation research potential of  academic competition

Assesses of  the research activities of  Georgian National University (SEU) academic personnel - is an instrument that is focused on development and engagement, which aims at developing research potential of academic corps, identification of needs, and increasing trending engagement, has a recommendation - taking character, and its results can be used to evaluate the academic position qualification requirements, the affiliation scheme as well as the ability to engage in the development of the program.

The evaluation scheme is multi-component and includes the possibility of assessing personnel in different directions of the research activities.

Evaluation of the research activities of the academic staff consists of two phases: 

• Self-assessment of research activities of academic personnel
• Review of self-assessment report by the University

 
Evaluation Scheme

The evaluation scheme includes a number of components that are evaluated by each person's research activity during the calendar year. Each component is assigned its own share in the final assessment of the personnel research activity.

Components of the assessment scheme  are: 

• Report at a referential conference
• Scientific publications in university publications
• Scientific publications in other referred editions in Georgia
• Scientific publications in  other referencing editions on abroad
• Scientific publications in editions with impact - factor
• University research grants
• Other research grants
• Published textbooks and monographs
• Number of quotes
• Supervising scientific papers
• Hirsch index
