Panel discussion on “Key issues of Medical Law” will be held on November 11, 12:00 p.m., at SEU.

As part of the event, lawyers of the Legal Aid Office, judges, practicing lawyers, academia and medical professionals will discuss the following issues: 

• Informed consent of the patient;
• General and special standard of burden of proof disposition in medical disputes;
• The issue of determining the causal relationship in medical disputes;
• Medical error;
• Key issues of medical examination, cooperation with the court;
• Patient’s refusal to receive medical services;
• The issue of determining the causal relationship in medical disputes.

Students of the Faculty of Law of accredited higher education institutions of Georgia are authorized to attend the conference.
