Georgian National University SEU hosted a joint workshop with BBW University of Applied Sciences of Berlin and Brandenburg on “Research and Teaching Experience During the Pandemic”. The workshop was aimed at sharing knowledge and experience between the respective universities and was attended by both administrative and academic staff.
The meeting was opened by SEU Vice-Rectors Ana Pirtskhalashvili and Giorgi Ghavtadze, BBW University Rector Gebhard Hafer and BBW University Founding Institution Director Sasha Flemintz.
The heads of international relations of SEU and BBW spoke about the international potential of the universities; opportunities for mobility, student exchange and joint projects between the universities.
The academic staff of SEU and BBW discussed the teaching process, the challenges posed by the pandemic, and the experiences gained during that period.
During the meeting, the possibilities of joint projects in the field of research and teaching as well as the chances of holding a joint scientific conference were discussed. The parties also expressed readiness to participate in EU grant projects (Erasmus +).
