Conference on Youth Action Agenda 2025

The Youth Agency, together with the Youth Workers’ Association of Georgia and in cooperation with the EU Technical Assistance Project “Skills4Jobs” and UN agencies, held a two-day conference on Youth Action Agenda 2025 at Georgian National University SEU.

The conference aims to raise awareness of the Bonn Process and the European Youth Agenda for actors in the youth field and to develop a 3-year action plan for the State Youth Strategy 2025 in line with the Bonn Process Declaration.

The UN Youth Coordination Groups (UNFPA, UNICEF, UNDP, UNIDO, ILO, UNHCR) and the EU Technical Assistance Project “Skills4Jobs” in Georgia support the Youth Agency in developing the strategy and the action plan.

Both SEU academic and administrative staff participate in the working groups.

Eight thematic groups operate within the conference:

  • “Implementing the European Agenda for Youth Activities in line with the Bonn Process”
  • “Developing the youth activities as an integral part of the youth policy”
  • “Developing services as part of youth activities and enhancing the access”
  • “Developing common foundations of the youth activities through cooperation, both within the sector and between various sectors”
  • “Promoting the development of quality youth activities”
  • “Addressing challenges by empowering the youth activities and promoting innovation”
  • “Promoting the youth activities and facilitating their recognition”
  • “Ensuring an important role of youth activities in the new reality”
