On December 26, the Georgian National University SEU signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Istanbul Medipol University in Turkey.
Memorandum was signed by the Rector of Georgian National University SEU - MR. Gia Kavtelishvili and the Rector of Istanbul Medipol University - MR. Sabahattin Aydin.
The purpose of the agreement is to promote general academic and scientific cooperation, mobility of students and staff within the interests of educational activities, organization of training and seminars, exchange of information, sharing of know-how, etc.
Within the framework of the visit, a working meeting was held with the management and representatives of Medipol University, where the parties discussed the details of future cooperation and expressed their readiness to cooperate in medical and various fields.
During the visit, the representatives of SEU visited the campus of Medipol University and Medipol Mega University Hospital Complex.
The Medipol Hospital Complex in Istanbul includes 9 hospitals, and the largest is the Medipol Mega University Hospital.
Medipol Mega University Hospital is the largest private investment complex in Turkey with the largest medical sector, with 246 polyclinic offices and 25 ultra-modern operating blocks.
Hospital physicians are medically educated English speakers who got an education in Europe and America. They are university professors at the same time.
