SEU hosted a public lecture by Miguel Cambas

Georgian National University (SEU) hosted a public lecture by Miguel Kamba on “Tourism and Economy in the Post-Covid Period” on March 31.

Miguel Cambas holds a PhD in Economics and Business from Alcalá University, the Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is a professor of Tourism Management at Alcalá University.

Mr. Cambas is the author of over 40 scientific papers in economics and healthcare, as well as a business management expert.


At various times he was:

• Secretary General of the Guadalajara Business Confederation;
• Director General of the European Center for Business and Innovation;
• Director of "Ramon y Cajal" and "Virjen de la Candelaria", one of the largest hospitals in Spain.
  
  

The speaker spoke on the following issues:

• How the European Stock Exchange works;
• The difference between Open Investment Companies (OEICs), ETFs, hedge fund investment trusts;
• The extent to which investments depend on time and risk analysis, etc.

Miguel Cambas’s lecture was held with simultaneous translation into Georgian, in question-answer format, and was attended by about 60 students.

The students received comprehensive information on issues of their interest.
