On June 14, Model European Parliament Session for school students was held at Georgian National University SEU.
22 schools participated in the project. Each school was given the role of an EU member state in a ballot.
M.A. mentor students of SEU delivered an online training on candidate countries’ EU membership aspirations for the teams.
Model European Parliament Session also accommodated the debates. The school teams imitated the position of a specific member state on Georgia’s accession to the European Union.
The session was led by Irakli Samkharadze, associate professor at SEU.
Georgia’s accession to the European Union was reached by voting.
At the end of the event, certificates and symbolic gifts were given to the participating schools and students.
