A webinar on: “Opportunities to Increase the Productivity of Scientific Research for Researchers” was held at SEU today.
The webinar was attended by about 90 Georgian researchers from more than 20 Georgian and foreign universities.
The webinar was opened by Ana Pirtskhalashvili, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research. The webinar was led by Natia, Gugunashvili, Ana Tsetskhladze and Salome Jeladze.
The aim of the webinar was to share information and practical advice for academics, and for young researchers to raise their awareness in national and international scientific circles.
The following matter was discussed: the types of researcher's scientific profile and their creation, bibliographic managers, Digital Object Identifier DOI, and opportunities to obtain scientific grants.
The students were also informed about the techniques of finding high-ranking scientific journals and the possibilities of publishing a scientific article in scientific journals with an impact factor.
The webinar focused on the important details needed to meet the international standards of a scientific article. The trainees also received information about the recognizable and most important international scientific electronic databases.
