SEU hosted the event by the Georgian Junior Academy

30 May, 2021

On May 30, within the framework of the Art Festival, Georgian National University SEU hosted the second event of the Georgian Junior Academy regarding Children's Day.

The first part of the event included an exhibition, while the second was devoted to a music concert.

The participants were awarded certificates and diplomas. According to the research, Niko Pirosmani turned out to be the most favourite artist among the majority of the little artists, that is why “Pirosmani Fisherman” handed over the diplomas to the participants, as Giorgi Kvizhinadze revived Nikala's famous painting.

The exhibition featured works by artists under the age of 17, in particular paintings, sculptures and handicrafts.

It should be noted that the event was attended by children and young people from different parts of Georgia, students of schools and studios, school leavers, as well as the students of teacher Maia Kandelaki.

The youngest participant of the exhibition was 2-year-old artist Liza Kavtelishvili.
