On November 24, the Chair of the Education and Science Committee of the Parliament Givi Mikanadze and the first deputy chair Giorgi Chakvetadze held an information meeting with students and academic/administrative personnel.
During the meeting, interested persons familiarized themselves with legislative changes related to doing internship at public service; Upon the initiative of the parliamentary majority, changes were made to the Law of Georgia On Public Service and the Law of Georgia On Remuneration in Public Institutions.
According to the changes made in the laws of Georgia, from November 1, 2022 internship shall be regarded as work experience, herewith, internship at public service will be paid.
