Dear SEU students, alumni and entrants, on December 11, 12 and 13, the SEU Program in Journalism will hold the series of public lectures: ‘’Career Path in Journalism’’ at SEU, with the support of the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office.

Join the series of public lectures and receive professional advice in terms of career development and practical activities.

During the public lectures you will learn about:

• One working day of a journalist;
• How TV report is prepared;
• The process of recording a TV report;
• The work schedule of a reporter;
• What challenges does the job of a reporter face;
• How to become a sports journalist;
• What obstacles do sports journalists face in Georgia, etc.

• Session on the topic: ‘’One Working Day of a Journalist’’
• Speaker: Ana Khoshtaria, SEU graduate and journalist of the information office ‘’Kurieri’’
• at the broadcasting company ‘’Rustavi2’’.
  

December 12, 16:00

• Session on the topic: ‘’News: Preparing a TV report’’
• Speaker: Shalva Sumbadze, SEU graduate and news correspondent / reporter of the
• news program ‘’Kviris Moambe’’.
  
  

December 13, 16:00

• Session on the topic: ‘’Sprots Journalism in Georgia’’
• Speaker: Saba Sapanadze, the final year student of the SEU Bachelor’s Program in
• Journalism, sports journalist.
  
  

Working language: Georgian

After the public lecture dual language certificates will be issued (in Georgian and English languages).
