SEU - Georgian National University

On March 28, at 17:00 a training will be held at Georgian National University SEU for school teachers on the topic: ‘’Academic Leadership at School’’.

The training will be held by Irina Abuladze, associate professor of the Master’s Program in Education Administration at SEU, Deputy Director of the USAID Educating for the Future Program, Master of the Columbia University.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Education System Policy and Management. At different periods she held the leading positions in public sector and in international programs (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Grants Program of the Millenium Challenge Corporation).

She was also the Deputy Head of LEPL National Center for Teacher Professional Development and the Deputy Minister. She has more than 10 years’ experience at public and private universities.

The following topics will be discussed during the training:

• The concept and the theoretical framework of academic leadership;
• Cooperating with different organizations for the purpose of school development, opportunities and challenges;
• The importance of international support in the implementation of national policy.

Registrations will be open until March 26.

The participants will be awarded with certificates.

The training is organized by the Master’s Program in Education Administration.
