On March 20, Working meeting – Principles of Academic Good Faith in Educational Institutions Will be Held At SEU.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide interested persons, both – students and academic personnel, with exhaustive information on the principles of academic good faith. The training will cover such issues, as the forms and types of plagiarism; its detection and mechanisms for prevention; post-pandemic situation. What can be done by educational institutions to reduce the risk of such violations to the minimum and to promote quality learning and teaching. It is important that examples of successful practice will be discussed at the meeting in order to make the process more obvious.
The meeting will be led by Giga Khositashvili – the deputy director of the library of Ilia State University. He holds master’s degree in Information Management and he is a doctoral student of the Doctoral Program in Education. He underwent practical training at Middlesex University (UK), later at Linkoping and Uppsala universities (Sweden), also at the universities of Valladolid (Spain) and Porto (Portugal).
