On June 2 simulation meeting of the Charter of Journalistic Ethics will be held at SEU.
Within the USAID Media Program, the students of the Journalism Program will review applications on the violation of the ethical principles, so-called real cases, which were reviewed by the Charter one year ago.
The students will take the roles of an applicant, respondent and the Council (members, head of the council).
The students will be provided with all necessary materials for the meeting, so that they will be able to establish whether any ethical principles have been violated. At the end of the Meeting, apart from the decision of the students, the decision rendered by the Charter will also be reviewed.
Duration of the simulation meeting: 1,3 – 2 hrs.
