SmartNET Media on the basis of academy offers an internship program to students and alumni, within the program the volunteers will be given an opportunity to do the unpaid professional practice from 1 month up to 6 months. Within the framework of the program registered volunteers will be selected with the predetermined periodicity and considering the educational profile.
 

The aim of the internship is:

• To create the opportunity of gaining of professional experience for the persons willing to get employed;
• To give the students and alumni with respective profile the opportunity to develop practical skills;
• To facilitate academic, career and professional growth under the supervision of professionals and by sharing experience;
• To facilitate the preparation of qualified personnel;
• To raise the awareness of students and alumni with regard to the employment in the field of media.
   

The following persons may participate in the internship program:

• Legally competent citizen of Georgia, who knows state language, studies at the institution of Georgia or a foreign country and is at least the second year student/or studies at the master’s or doctoral program/or is the alumni (less than 2 years must have passed after the completion of studies); Based on the structural unit of the channel and also the specifics of the internship program, the students of vocational educational institutions may also participate in the internship program.
• Qualification of the intern and the educational program, where the person willing to do the internship studies must comply with the profile of the respective structural unit of the metero24 channel.
  
  

Periodicity of recruitment of interns and the internship term:

• The interns are recruited on a quarterly basis, by means of reviewing/selection of the received applications on a quarterly basis.

• The first phase of the selection stage of the internship program includes reviewing of applications and the second one is – interview.
• Additional selection stages will be determined based on the requirements of the specific position/program of internship (is such exists).
• Specially established commission performs the selection of interns with certain periodicity, which is composed of the personnel of the channel.
