On December 9-10, ,,the Debate Tournament 2019'', organized by the SEU Diplomats Club, was held in the American Parliamentary format with the theme "Youth Politics".
From those who were interested in the project, twenty-four students were selected of whom, 12 teams were formed. The winners of the Debate Tournament, Mariam Kiria and Giga Kurtsikidze, were identified by a jury and they were awarded a three-month scholarship from SEU.
Luka Kavalashvili, Gaga Chartolani, Luka Bakuradze, Mariam Chitauri and Tsira Gognadze were named as “Top Speakers” of the tournament.
Two weeks before the tournament, workshops were held, on debate specifics, formats, themes and political ideologies.
