Business Idea Contest was held for the students at the Georgian National University SEU.
The SEU Student Startup 2020 consisted of four stages and comprised approximately one month preparation period.
Teams, consisting of a maximum of three students, submitted their business ideas electronically. After interviewing the authors of the selected business ideas, the finalists were identified. The mentors were consulting them in the process of preparing the perfect business plan.
At the final stage, the jury, together with the organizers and experts, that included Rector of the University Gia Kavtelishvili and Head of Startup Georgia Giorgi Lomidze, named five winner groups of the competition who will participate in a three-day workshop in Bakuriani in February on the topic: "Starting and Managing Startup".
Also, all the business ideas that have been moved to the final stage will be uploaded with the help of mentors to the Startup Georgia website in order to get funding.
