scientific-online conference - "Women's Rights and Challenges in Georgia"

From December 5, Georgian National University SEU, Faculty of law joins the global campaign against women and domestic violence. Under the framework of University Week of Human Rights Law SEU has hosted a scientific-online conference on "Women's Rights and Challenges in Georgia".

The participants of the event were selected by the grand jury.

Members of the jury were:

• Ana Pirtskhalaishvili (Dr. Jur.) Professor - Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Georgian National University SEU,
• Goga Khatiashvili -, Expert, National Consultant on Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, Invited Lecturer at SEU.
• Tamar Avaliani - Doctor of Law, Visiting Lecturer at SEU.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Nino Tsatsiashvili welcomed the participants of the conference and talked regarding the adopted measures to protect women's rights in the country.
The event participants were warmly welcomed and appreciated by the dean of the faculty of Law of the National University of Georgia, Associate Professor - Tea Jugheli.
