A presentation of Professor Ioseb Vardzelashvili's book “Some Issues of Sentencing (Case Law Analysis)” was held at SEU on February 25.
The issue of sentencing is highly pressing in criminal law both theoretically and practically. The study of the case law reveals major shortcomings primarily occurring in sentencing. The issue of sentencing, discussed in the paper, is based on case law.
The research is mainly intended for judges; however, the paper is no less important in the process of university teaching.
The event was attended by judges, university professors, representatives of the university administration and students.
The event was conducted in compliance with all regulations related to COVID-19.
