Academic Competition in Education Administration At The Faculty Of Business And Technology

Georgian National University SEU announces an open competition for the academic position of professor of Education Administration at the Faculty of Business and Technology.

Competitive vacancies:

• Professor - 1 vacancy;

To participate in the competition, the contestant must meet the relevant academic qualification requirements of the vacancy in line with to the criteria below.

For the academic position of professor:

• Academic degree of Doctor or equivalent;
• At least 6 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience in a higher education institution;
• Authorship / co-authorship of scientific publications published during the last 5 years in the field of relevant study courses;
• Vision of conducting academic activities;
• Presentation of syllabus / syllabi of the relevant study course of the educational program.

Additional criteria for academic staff:

• Practical experience in the relevant field;
• Participation in scientific conferences, scientific scholarships, and grants;
• Participation in professional development activities;
• Command of foreign languages.

Documents to be submitted for the competition:

• Application for participation in the competition indicating the relevant academic position and direction;
• Contestant form;
• Copy of ID card;
• Documentation relevant to the criteria set for the vacancy: copies of educational documents certifying the qualification (in case of education abroad, it is necessary to have a document of recognition with a diploma), a document certifying scientific-pedagogical experience in a higher education institution, information regarding published scientific papers, etc.;
• Vision of conducting academic activities;
• Syllabus / syllabi;
• Documentation confirming the competitor's compliance with the additional criteria.

Stages of the competition:

1. Selection of documents submitted by the contestants (in the absence of the contestants)
2. Interview with the competition commission.

Terms of competition:

• The application for competition and relevant documentation must be submitted within the deadlines for submission of the competition documents.
• The commission is authorized to check the accuracy of the information and documentation submitted by the contestant and/or request the contestant to submit additional documentation. In case of requesting additional documentation, the person will be accepted to the next stage of the competition provided that the relevant documentation is submitted.
• Your resume submitted to Georgian National University SEU in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection may contain personal data, including special category data. Please be informed that your personal data will be processed by Georgian National University SEU for the purposes of making a contract with you, including the decision to establish a labor relationship.

Competition deadlines:

1. The competition is announced from March 26, 2021.
2. Applications for academic positions will be accepted from April 27, 2021 to April 29, 2021.
3. The first stage of the competition of selecting the documents will be held on May 7, 2021.
4. The second stage of the competition of conducting the Interview with the competition commission will be held on May 10-11, 2021 (the exact date and time of the interview will be announced to the candidate after passing the first stage of the competition).
5. The list of entrants will be published on May 12, 2021.
6. Appeal applications will be accepted until the 13th of 2021.
7. Appeals will be considered on May 14, 2021.
8. The final results of the competition will be published on May 17, 2021.
