On November 14, a public lecture will be held at Georgian National University SEU on the topic: ‘’Introduction to Taxation System’’.
Speaker: Wolfgang Berger – Doctor of Economics, International Taxation Expert, Former Advisor for Tax Policy at the Ministry of Finances of Austria.
At the lecture, Wolfgang Berger will present the topics on VAT and double taxation. He will also speak about the actual problems of international tax policy and tax systems, he will also cover the challenges of tax administrations, which is necessary in order to collect correct taxes.
As an EU expert, he has worked in many countries, among them, in Georgia.
He was also the member of the team, which has developed the current VAT directive.
