Georgian National University SEU organized an online webinar for school teachers titled “Using Digital Tools in School Life” on December 4.
The webinar was about introducing the digital storytelling method to teachers of all three stages of school education, enabling them to plan an effective lesson for both online and face-to-face teaching.
The aim of the webinar was to help the participants comprehend the effectiveness of storytelling in the 21st century, to understand the diversity of its use and the need to increase pupils’ critical thinking, creativity skills, in parallel with subject competencies and digital literacy.
The participants were introduced to the methods and techniques on how to generate, plan, implement and evaluate digital storytelling ideas.
The speaker was Nino Bitskinashvili, Doctor of Education, Assistant Professor at SEU, Adviser on Digital Transformation, Expert in Educational Technologies at the European School, Trainer.
All participants were awarded a certificate
