On January 30, 2020, the Director-General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia visited the Georgian National University SEU. Rector of SEU, Gia Kavtelishvili, Vice-Rector Giorgi Tskhvediani, academic and administrative staff attended the meeting.
The guest speaker presented the Foundation's work, spoke about the importance of fundamental and applied research, the priorities of science development, the competitions announced by the Rustaveli Foundation, the scientific research evaluation system presented and future plans. Zviad Gabisonia answered the audience's questions, got acquainted with their opinions and suggestions on the fund's activities. At the end of the meeting, the guest toured the new campus of SEU.
