A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Georgian National University SEU and the Open International University for Human Development ‘Ukraine’ on October 13.
Under the memorandum, students, academic and administrative staff from the respective universities will be able to participate in exchange programs. The cooperation will also include participation in joint grant and research projects and other activities to promote internationalization.
In parallel with the signing of the memorandum, the SEU staff had the opportunity to learn about different models and practices in the field of inclusive education. The Ukrainian colleagues shared their experiences and best practices in organizing an inclusive educational space in a higher education institution. The working panel included an open discussion.
The webinar was conducted as part of a grant funded by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES).
University ‘Ukraine’ is one of the leading private universities in Ukraine, offering more than 45 specialties to around 11,000 students. It should be noted that 9% of students are persons with disabilities, who enjoy an access to an integrated educational environment and high-quality education services.
