Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Online Week hosted by SEU

At the initiative of the SEU Bachelor’s Program in Management, Georgian National University SEU hosted the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Online Week on December 13-17.

For companies, CSR has effectively become one of the best ways to communicate with the general public and customers, and deliver the relevant messages. At the same time, following the current trends in the world, more and more organizations in Georgia are interested in sustainable development issues and are trying to contribute in this regard.

Throughout the Week, the following key issues of CSR were discussed:

• The role of leaders in modern society - sustainable development;
• CSR and marketing;
• Corporate Social Responsibility: the New Reality of Business;
• Bank of Georgia CSR strategy and implemented projects;
• CSR and sustainable business concept.

Representatives from business and academia talked about these challenges, suggested ways to solve problems, and shared best practices.
