On March 15, SEU, Lazarski University, the Spanish National University of Distance Education and the University of Madrid (CEDEU) co-hosted the Third International Scientific Online Congress: "21st Century EU: A New Silk Road Project"- a dialogue between East and West for researchers and academics.
The purpose of the congress was to facilitate scientific debates and exchange of ideas on the current state of the EU and relations with Asia.
The congress was opened by Ana Pirtskhalashvili, the Vice-Rector of Georgian National University SEU, professor. She spoke about the importance of the Silk Road for the political and economic development of Georgia. SEU professors Giorgi Kharshiladze, Rusudan Beriashvili and Paata Shurgaia participated in the congress, who also moderated one of the sessions.
The congress proceedings will be published in the collection of reports, which will be published in Spain under the editorship of Anna Pirtskhalashvili, Martin Dali and Alfonso Cebrian Diaz.
