Nunu Mitskevich, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia, together with Beka Peradze, Head of the Labor Inspection Service, got acquainted with the measures taken to prevent the virus at Georgian National University SEU and heard information about the innovations introduced at the university from directly the students.
We would like to remind you that in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year at Georgian National University SEU, the academic process continued in a hybrid model, which means teaching both in the classrooms and remotely. Students and lecturers had the opportunity to choose for themselves which model they wanted to continue the academic semester with.
Due to the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the academic process in SEU is carried out in full compliance with all the rules. Students, academic and administrative staff undergo thermal imaging before entering the university, keep their distance in the classrooms, attend lectures-seminars wearing a face mask. It is noteworthy that disinfection works at the university are carried out once every 50 minutes.
