A Student Ombudsman election event was held using the Zoom platform at Georgian National University.
SEU on December 9, 2020, as a result of which, Mariam Sologashvili, a successful BA student of International Relations of the Faculty of Social Sciences, was elected as the Student Ombudsman of SEU by a majority of votes.
A Student Ombudsman at SEU is elected by the Student Self-Government. The purpose of the Student Ombudsman is to protect the rights of students. You can contact the ombudsman if you think your/student’s rights and freedoms have been violated or restricted, and/or you need a counselor/mediator with a problem that is interfering with your activities at SEU.
You must apply to the Ombudsman in writing. After receiving a specific application, the Ombudsman will contact you to discuss and assist with the very problem.
