University research development service is functioning at University in order to develop and promote scientific researches.
The Research Development Service will facilitate the development of academic and scientific research in the university, coordinating the planning and evaluation processes of a scientific-research component within the university educational programs, organizational support of the academic personnel scientific activities, within the scope of research, the control of academic honesty.
Research Development Office in order to achieve its objectives, carries out the following authorizations:
- Elaborates research activities’ plan of University;
- Organizes university research activities (conferences, seminars, workshops and others);
- Participates in the recruiting process with appropriate staff for reviewing the research papers;
- Analyzes the reports of academic and scientific staff and reports of university research centres;
- Manages university research grants;
- Prepares a conclusion on scientific research work of academic personnel and elaborates recommendations for the development of academic research at the university;
- Ensures the protection of academic honesty within the university and participates in the establishment of anti-plagiarism measures at the university;
- Together with the International Relations Office develops and manages the research activities in the international cooperation process for internationalization;
- Together with the International Relations Office, supports the coordination of joint grants, scholarships and research projects in the name of the University;
- Cares about inviting foreign researchers at university.
