SEU hosted the presentation of the book titled ‘Constitutional Adjudication’ authored by Besik Loladze, Zurab Macharadze and Anna Phirtskhalashvili on September 30.
The publication of the book was made possible through the support of SEU, Constitutional Court and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the state grant provided by LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation of Georgia.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court and members of the Court, members of the Parliament of Georgia, the head of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, Deputy Public Defender and the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Gia Kavtelishvili, Rector of Georgian National University SEU, Merab Turava, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Giorgi Chkheidze, Project Manager of the ‘Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia’ (PROLoG) project, Jaba Samushia, Director General of the Rustaveli Foundation and the authors of the book delivered welcome speeches to the audience.
The event was moderated by Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Professor Anna Phirtskhalashvili.
The book is compiled for law students, professors working in the field, scientists, practicing lawyers, and others interested in Constitutional Adjudication. The book aims to comprehensively present the main issues of Constitutional Adjudication.
