The Training Center of Georgian National University SEU organized a free training titled “Opportunities to Enhance Scientific-Research Productivity for Universities and Publishing Houses” on December 21.
The training was led by Natia Gugunashvili, SEU Project Management Manager for Scientific Research.
The aim of the training was to introduce the participants to international scientific databases, to share information about search engines and journal indexing procedures in the mentioned databases. The training also addressed the procedures for a publishing house or an educational institution to join Crossref, publish, and award a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to an article.
The training was attended by representatives from publishing houses and the university administration, engaged in the issues of indexing and increasing international awareness of the journal in the scientific databases, as well as researchers and other stakeholders.
