SEU Hosted a Training on “JOURNALISM - THE ART OF TELLING REAL STORIES”  

On the 7th of March, the Undergraduate Program in Journalism of Georgian National University SEU hosted a hybrid training on “Journalism - the Art of Telling Real Stories”.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

• Main goals of journalism;
• Means of media expression;
• Types of information and their forms of reflection;
• The essence of journalistic text;
• Basic principles of media coverage, news coverage, and storytelling;
• Peculiarities of operative journalism;
• The need of verifying the information.
  
  

Speaker: Tinatin Zakarashvili, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor at SEU, Head of the Undergraduate Program in Journalism.

The training also included some interesting and practical assignments. The training was attended by school and university students. The participants will be awarded a certificate and symbolic gifts.
