As part of the cooperation between SEU and the Sakpatenti Training Center, a hybrid public lecture on “Intellectual Property” was held on March 9, designed to raise sectoral awareness among the students and academic staff.

The areas of intellectual property, such as trademarks, geographical indications, design, as well as inventions and new varieties were addressed by the lecture.
The representatives from Sakpatenti’s sectoral departments informed the participants about the importance of the field, the ways and means of commercialization of the rights arising from it, and discussed both national and international in force legal framework in the field.
The public lecture was delivered in a hybrid mode both on-site, at the SEU Library and remotely, through the ZOOM.
