An Official Visit Of The Head Of The International Relations Office Of SEU To Portugal

Maka Kuchava, Head of the International Relations Department of SEU, paid an official visit to the Polytechnic Institute of Braganca (ipb Braganca) in Portugal within the framework of the Erasmus program. Ms. Maka had a working meeting with the Vice-President of the University Luis Pais as well as with the heads of various programs and departments.
During the meeting, several important issues were agreed between the parties:
- Next semester, SEU will be paid an official visit by the academic staff of the Polytechnic Institute of Braganca, offering training to students and academic staff in the fields of management and IT.
- Meetings have been scheduled to share experiences with the academic staff on teaching and learning methods;
- It has been agreed that the representatives from the Polytechnic Institute of Braganca will train our staff on their entrepreneurial lab model.
- ipb forms an association of universities, covering 8 universities, and thus, applying for EU grants. SEU will also be among these universities as an associate member.
It is noteworthy that the partnership between SEU and ipb University has been going on for several years, and it is developing quite fast and fruitfully. Numerous students have benefited from the exchange programs and dual diplomas.
