A public lecture on “War and the Journalism” was held at Georgian National University SEU on April 18.
During the lecture, the following points were discussed:
Speaker: Paul Bell, leading specialist in the fight against violent extremism, strategic communications and politics from the UK; one of the UK’s leading and experienced strategic communications advisors specializing in politics, development and conflict. At a time when South Africa was embracing democratic values, he was first a political journalist, and later, an editor at Cape Town’s largest publishing house. Paul Bell later joined Bell Pottinger, London’s largest geopolitical consulting firm.
Paul Bell should be noted that has been living and working in Georgia for the past three years, leading the development of strategies for various international projects. In February, he worked in Ukraine on a campaign for the country’s territorial defense forces.
He actively writes on strategic communications and regional policy for NATO publications as well as delivering lectures at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
The lecture was delivered in English, with simultaneous interpretation in Georgian as well.
The speaker provided particularly important information to the audience and answered their questions of interest.
