On July 2-11, Georgian National University SEU’s master's students took part in summer school to Switzerland, organized by MOVETIA, Swiss national agency for the promotion of exchange and mobilty. They visited St. Gallen Univeristy. The project was led by Vice-Rector Anna Phirtskhalashvili and the students were mentored by an invited expert Nia Dzeria.
Reminding that SEU, together with Swiss, Ukrianian and Albanian partner universities, is involved in the international project of MOVETIA, intended to both develop and implement a joint educational course, titled "Human Rights, Social Challenges and Social Work" as well as organizing student research projects. As part of the visit, the participants assessed the social chalenge-related research results.
The summer school was fully funded by MOVETIA. It should be noted that cooperation among the participating nations has furthet deepened and future joint projects have been outlined as well, including bilateral cooperation. Internalization remains top on SEU agenda and our students will be able to enjoy taking part in similar international projects in the future.
