Teona Bebia, Head of SEU Tech & Entrepreneurship Lab, paid a business visit to the United Kingdom.
During her visit, Ms. Bebia visited various higher educational institutions and entrepreneurship/startup facilitation centers.
The business visits were made to the universities of Derby, Birmingham, Eston and Staffordshire. The Head of the Lab familiarized herself with the current entrepreneurship facilitation programs in universities. High academic officials shared their respective universities’ visions for the development of tech entrepreneurship.
The parties agreed that the representatives of the mentioned universities will share their international experience with the SEU academic staff and help in the implementation of the development of local university entrepreneurial/startup programs.
Also, within her visit, the Head of the SEU Lab visited STEAMhouse Birmingham, Eston University Digital and Innovation Center, Industry and Entrepreneurship Facilitation Centers of Cromford Mills and Banks Mills and common workspaces.
The information collected during the visit will play an important role in the development of the SEU Tech and Entrepreneurship Lab as well as updating and advancing the entrepreneurship promoting programs.
It should be noted that the business visit took place within the framework of the “Creative Spark” program of the British Council in cooperation with the British Adventure Creative.
