Heads of the Politics and Social Graduate Programs, as well as the Head and Students of the Psychology Undergraduate Program.

On September 30, events dedicated to the memory of Dimitri Uznadze were held in Kutaisi and the Heads of the Politics and Social Graduate Programs, as well as the Head and Students of the Psychology Progra of SEU participated in it.

Within the framework of the event various activities were held:

• Opening of the monument of Dimitri Uznadze at Akaki Tsereteli State University;
• Opening of the cabinet named after Dimitri Uznadze at #2 Ioseb Otskheli Public School;
• Opening of an exhibition – ‘’Dimitri Uznadze – Bridge in the Context of European and World Psychology’’ in Kutaisi State Historical Museum.

The main organizer of the event within the European Heritage Days was the professor of clinical psychology at King’s College London, elected member of the European Academy, member of the psychological society of Great Britain, Professor Keti Chanturia.

Dimitri Uznadze is a distinguished Georgian psychologist, philosopher, founder of Georgian Scientific School of Psychology. He received education at Leipzig University, where he studied psychology under the supervision of the founder of experimental psychology – Wilhelm Wundt.
