On November 18-19, the Faculty of Medicine of SEU organized a conference on the topic: Symptoms, Diagnostics and Treatment of the Acquired Mitral Valve Heart Diseases.
The Conference was chaired by the Senior Cardiologist of the Division of Cardiology of the Central Clinic of Stuttgart, Germany, the Head of the Catheter Laboratory, Doctor of Medical Sciences Rezo Jorbenadze.
The Conference includes various sessions, which was attended by 500 participants: doctors residents and students.
At the end of the conference, the Rector of SEU, Mr. Gia Kavtelishvili granted the title of Honorary Doctorate to Mr. Rezo Jorbenadze for his significant merit in the development of the field of cardiology.
Mr. Rezo Jorbenadze will continue to cooperate with the university in the academic direction, and many other joint projects will be planned.
