President of Student Self-Government

The students of Georgian National University SEU organized the Student Self-Government Team Elections electronically through the eLearning Management System, which resulted in the election of Imeda Grigolia, a bachelor of Management of the Faculty of Business and Technology on January 29, 2020. The Student self-government elections were held under the auspices of Georgian Student's Organizations Association.

The number of participants in the elections according to the electoral list was 6428, the number of participants according to the signatures on the electoral list was 2729.

As a general rule, the goals of student self-government activities are as follows:

• Development of students' professional training level and creative activity;
• Diversity of student life;
• Student participation in the daily activities of SEU;
• Protecting the legal rights of students;
• Promoting students' self-realization and building foundations for independent thinking;
• Preparation of proposals and recommendations for the governing bodies of SEU in order to improve the organization and quality of the learning process;
• Ensuring maximum integration of the University in the European educational space and student participation in this process.
